Saba Kord Afshari, 20, has been sentenced to 24 years in prison by Iran for removing her hijab in public. Her mother was also arrested.
This is just one case out of dozens that are not reported by Western media.
Iran is the world’s biggest jailer of Innocent women including journalists, rape victims, and women's rights activities.
Many women who refused to wear Islamic veil in Iran were arrested and imprisoned, most of whom received more than 15 years' jail sentences.
As you can see down below, Fearless Iranian-American women's rights activist posted this Interview which she gave to Canadian TV Channel.
The video was posted with the following description:
...I told @CBCNews that Iranian women continue to protest #Forcedhijab in Islamic Republic and continue their resistance despite harsh 109-year prison sentence given to #SabaKordafshari & other #WhiteWednesdays activists. We call on global feminist movement to break their silence..."
