The Republic of Nauru, a Pacific island country, has recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
US President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and officially moved the US embassy to the city in May 2018. Guatemala moved its embassy to Jerusalem just two days later.
Despite pressure from the Arab-Muslim world several countries,
including the Czech Republic, Romania, Lithuania, Australia and Brazil, have expressed interest in moving their embassies to Jerusalem.
As the only democratic state in the entire Middle East, only Israel can guarantee freedom of worship and protect the holy sites of all religions in Jerusalem.
Just look at what is happening to Christians and other minorities all over the Middle East.
Jews no longer exist in most Arab countries, after being persecuted, deported and ethnically cleansed.
Western countries must recognize Jerusalem as Israel's eternal capital.
