American-Iranian human rights activist, Masih Alinejad, posted this video on social media to raise awareness of women's struggle against sharia laws in Iran.
The video (Embedded below) was posted with the following description:
"Her name is Yasaman Aryani she is one of the youngest women’s right activist who joined #WhiteWednesdays movement against Forced Hijab.
Today Yasaman & her mother Monireh Arabshahi each got 16 yrs jail sentence for their Peaceful activities. Be her voice."
Iran's rulers are killing women's rights activists.
Why are the media, the UN, the European Union, and feminists in the West silent?
16 years imprisonment for protesting against compulsory Hijab in Iran. Where is the "hijab is a choice" brigade now? Where are all the hijabis that are so pro CHOICE to condemn this brutality?
