As you can see in the embedded post below Iranian-American human rights activist, Masih Alinejad, went viral on social media after strongly condemning The woman who leads female volunteers in Iran's hard-line conservative militia, the Basij.
In a post which went viral on Twitter Masih wrote the following:
"...Welcome to Iran in the 21st century. These are the people who rule Iran with utter bigotry....Minou Aslani, a female leader of the notorious militia called Basij said the following:
'Lack of hijab causes a chemical imbalance resulting in damaged brain cells in women'."
Masih Alinejad is the woman behind the #WhiteWednesdays campaign in Iran, which encourages women to remove the veil and film the harassment by Islamist regime-supporters.
This time she directly attacked, Minu Aslani, the female leader who encourages and enforces the women's oppression in Iran.
In the past, Minu Aslani has reportedly called the promotion of gender equality illegal and demanded that the country's powerful judiciary take action against people who speak out against such state-sponsored discrimination.
