The US Senate has passed two resolutions against antisemitism, one unanimously condemning “all forms of antisemitism.”
The Bipartisan Cruz-Kaine Resolution, which was put forward by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Sen. Tim Kaine ((D-Virgina), was described by Cruz as “what should hopefully be a simple, but crucially important matter for the Senate.”
As you can see in the video below before the vote, Ted Cruz attacked the Muslim congressman who provoked outrage over the past year by normalizing anti-Semitism in Congress.
Jews comprise 2% of the US population. They comprise 58.1% of the victims of religious hate crimes in the country. From 2016 to 2017, anti-Semitic hate crimes increased by 37%.
Anti-Semitism is not a legitimate criticism of Israel.
It’s really not hard to get to the bottom of this: The Somalian American politician serving as the U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) says that Jews have magical hypnotic powers to control other people, She says Jews control other people through money, She says Jews have conspired to force you to apologize for saying anti-Semitic things, Ilhan Omar is an anti-Semite.
