A day after Iranian human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh has been sentenced to a total of 38 years in prison and 148 lashes. The UN Women's rights committee elected Iran to serve as judge of global women's rights complaints.
Iran has the worst human rights record in the world.
Nasrin Sotoudeh is a national treasure in Iran. Why? Because she has bravely stood up for women’s rights. For children’s rights. For a safer, fairer Iran. Yet, for this, she is serving 38 years in prison & will be flogged 148 times.
The United Nations, the media and the European Union support the Iranian sharia regime that carries out the worst Human Rights violation in the world.
